Ned's Death: The Cost of Steve Zissou's Helicopter Recklessness
It's no secret that Steve Zissou is a reckless helicopter pilot. He's put Ned through the wringer more times than we can count, and his death was ultimately the cost of Steve's recklessness. If only Steve flew the chopper himself, maybe things would have turned out differently. But Zissou insisted on Ned flying and, as always, Ned was left to clean up the mess.
We can only hope that Steve will learn from this tragedy and be a bit more careful in the future. Piloting a helicopter is no joke, and it's high time Steve realizes that. Zissou's thoughtless approach caused the death of Ned Plimpton, his new helicopter pilot. Ned was always left to clean up the mess after Zissou's careless mistakes, and this time was no different.
We'll never forget you, Ned. You were caring, classy, and would have been a great father. RIP
